Edale, a Canon company, a UK-based manufacturer of printing and converting machinery, has announced the appointment of Ryan Barrett as head of sales for APAC. The strategic appointment reinforces Edale’s commitment to growing its global presence and providing world-class support and solutions to customers across the Asia-Pacific region.

Ryan brings with him experience and an understanding of Edale’s products and customer needs. Having initially joined Edale in 2017 as aftersales manager, he built strong relationships with customers while developing an in-depth knowledge of Edale’s technology and the applications they serve.

His technical background, combined with years of hands-on customer engagement, makes him perfectly placed to help customers in APAC overcome challenges and optimise their production processes.

“This expertise and deep understanding of customer challenges, developed during his time heading up Customer Services at Edale, align perfectly with our global strategy. We are excited for what is to come, and Ryan, who officially started his new role last November, has hit the ground running, already engaging with customers across the region to better understand and serve their needs.”

In his new role, Barrett will be responsible for expanding Edale’s footprint across the APAC region, building on existing and forming new customer relationships, and developing distribution networks to drive growth. His focus will be on understanding customer pain points and delivering tailored solutions through Edale’s latest technologies, such as the FL3 label press and FL5 single-pass carton production line.

Barrett, comments, “After nearly 13 years in the service world, I am excited to take on this new challenge. My years at Edale have taught me the importance of understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that truly add value. I look forward to bringing that experience to my new role, building relationships, and expanding Edale’s presence in APAC.
